Guest: HIDONASH

HIDONASH is a Düsseldorf (DE) based musician, DJ and software-developer who explores contemporary terrain between industrial techno and body music. As a musician, he intertwines both archaic and futuristic motives, expressed in intuitive yet algorithmic gestures. His composition-process generally revolves around the mystification of technology and the uncanny threshold between human and machine. In 2020, together with his partners in crime Ozip_402 and Anodized, Hidonash founded system ctl – A label and event-series thriving somewhere between copenhagen techno, body music and industrial techno. System ctl is set up as an holistic platform for rave-culture in general and delivers hard-hitting releases and events in Düsseldorf (DE) specifically crafted for the dance-floor. In close collaboration with the contentual design collective BYRJUN, auditive and visual ideas inspire each other, generating a unique presentation form of the label and event-series. Along with system ctl, Hidonash is embedded in the community of About Repetition e.V., a group of artists dedicated to the research of Repetition through artistic means, collaborating with a wide range of other collectives in Cologne, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Tbilisi and Berlin. Since 2019, Hidonash is engaged in a collaborative project with Vocalist Tasime, working on an occult blend of ambient, industrial techno and imaginary folk music. In January 2020, Hidonash received the award for the best contribution in the “Acoustic Stories” category and the audience price at Sound Cinema Düsseldorf. In November 2020, he released his debut EP “Yakiman” on the Madrid (E) based imprint SOIL Records, followed by his debut LP “Verbose Liturgy in October 2021. In 2021 he released his two singles “Chudan” and “Kyugu” on his imprint system.
